The Progressive Bengali Network is a group of
left, progressive, and radical Bengalis from the San Francisco Bay
Area bridging the borders between the many Bengals: Purbo and Poschim,
geographic and diasporic. We're working to develop a space open to
arts, activism, and community organizing.

Anti-War Demos, 2005
Members of the Progressive Bengali Network joined San Francisco Bay
Area South Asian and People of Color groups, marching against the war
on September 24, 2005. We made signs and chants in Bengali and
English, to let the administration know of our disenchantment with
imperialistic wars every way we knew how.
